 2004-2012 / 2022 The work draws inspiration from John Cage’s 4′33″ and centers on instances of human exasperation, specifically the act of breathing. It isolates the sound of an inhaled or exhaled breath from ten selected moments in popular television and news broadcasts, each playing on one of ten sets of speakers.
