Deferred works employ duration, repetition, and visual ambiguity to delay recognition. Rather than presenting images as immediately accessible, these projects suspend the act of identification, requiring meaning to emerge gradually through sustained viewing.

As images move between visibility and uncertainty, familiar events, places, and narratives become difficult to locate with precision. Recognition remains possible, but it is postponed. In this interval between appearance and comprehension, the works explore how perception, memory, and understanding are shaped by the conditions through which images are encountered.
