The selected interventions below investigate the punctum as a structuring force within historically and culturally significant images. Through acts of alteration, removal, and reconstruction, they disrupt the elements through which photographs accumulate meaning, memory, and authority.

The resulting images are not speculative alternatives to the events they depict. Instead, they examine how meaning persists, migrates, or dissolves when the punctum is displaced.
